In the centre of Rotorua Central Mall, you’ll spot a giant More FM–branded birthday gift box. Can you guess what’s inside?
Over 10 days (August 10–22), we’ll be dropping daily clues to help you Guess the gift hidden inside the box. Clues will be shared:
- On-air with Jack on More FM Rotorua
- On the Rotorua Central Mall Facebook and Instagram pages
- Right here on the Rotorua Central Mall website
Each clue will bring you closer to uncovering the mystery, so keep listening, watching, and guessing!
The clues!
Sunday 9/8: I have a frame and I move, but I have no engine, pedals, or reins.
Monday 10/8: My design is mostly open air, but I am excellent at holding onto things.
Tuesday 11/8: I am built to carry a heavy load, but I always start my journey completely empty.
Wednesday 12/8: I love to travel in straight lines, but I am famous for having one stubborn foot that wants to go sideways.
Thursday 13/8: I spend my nights parked outside or in a giant bay, sleeping nose-to-tail with dozens of twins.
Sunday 16/8: I have four small legs, but I never walk—I only roll when someone gives me a nudge from behind.
Monday 17/8: I have a long, straight handlebar, but you’ll never see a bell, brake, or basket attached to it.
Tuesday 18/8: I am the only vehicle where it’s perfectly normal to have a toddler sitting backward on my dashboard.
Wednesday 19/8: You push me down long aisles to help gather your food, but I am never allowed to go home with you.
Thursday 20/8: I am a metal or plastic basket on four wheels that you roll through the supermarket.
How to enter
- Head into Rotorua Central Mall and make a purchase of at least $10
- Find one of our promotional posters, hint – you’ll find them near a giant gift box.
- Scan the QR code
- Submit your guess
All correct guesses will go into the draw to win. You can enter as many times as you like.
To be in to win you’ll need to come along to our birthday party between 11am-1pm on the 22nd August where we will celebrate the special day with treats, games, giveaways and a special kapahaka performance by Rotorua Primary.
Terms and Conditions
Please note you need to spend $10 or more at any Rotorua Central store between 10th – 22nd August and be able to present a receipt in order to claim the prize.
To enter you must be willing to sign up to receive marketing emails from Rotorua Central Mall.
Any guesses submitted may be shared on Rotorua Central and More FMs social media pages.
In the event of there being multiple correct answers, a random draw will be carried out to determine the winner.
